View from the choir

I am a Catholic layperson and Secular Franciscan with a sense of humor. After years in the back pew watching, I have moved into the choir. It's nice to see faces instead of the backs of heads. But I still maintain God has a sense of humor - and that we are created in God's image.

40 Days - Drawing a reaction

This video shows a group of 40 Days participants praying peacefully - and in the background you can hear the pro-choice side's loud, hostile, response. The pro-lifers continue just praying peacefully.

Who is more violent?

Apparently there has been an increase in the number the incidents this year, most involving verbal harassment. But there is one report of objects being thrown at 40 Days participants. No one has been hurt - thank God.

Who is more violent?

Ah, maybe they should be subjected to some enhanced interrogation techniques like Holy Water Boarding!

Hi Lee -- Good to see you this morning. Will you be celebrating the Transitus this evening. Also, Happy Feastday of St. Francis tomorrow!!!

If you ever want to see a most beautiful stained glass of St. Francis, stop by the chapel at Aquinas High School. Take a picture of it too. It's so beautiful.

It was good to see you, too, choir loft.

Because of the Feast falling on a Sunday, there is no official local celebration of the Transitus or the F Day. My wife and I plan to watch one of our Francis movies tonight.

Thanks for the heads up about the window!

Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, they know not what they do."
