View from the choir

I am a Catholic layperson and Secular Franciscan with a sense of humor. After years in the back pew watching, I have moved into the choir. It's nice to see faces instead of the backs of heads. But I still maintain God has a sense of humor - and that we are created in God's image.

Deacon update

I met with the canon lawyer.

His initial reaction was that it did not sound too bad, but that he needed to do some more research and to consult with another canon lawyer.

And I have to write up a summary of the events.

There is hope.

Amazing how stupid decisions can come back to bite us.
