View from the choir

I am a Catholic layperson and Secular Franciscan with a sense of humor. After years in the back pew watching, I have moved into the choir. It's nice to see faces instead of the backs of heads. But I still maintain God has a sense of humor - and that we are created in God's image.

March on Planned Parenthood

We held our March to Planned Parenthood on this chilly Saturday.

We processed through downtown Rochester, then said a rosary and other prayers at Planned Parenthood.

A low-key event, with numbers small (cold?). But wherever two or more are gathered in God's name, the Lord is there.

The picture of the two people ( Martha & Rob) walking, down the sidewalk, with a Rosary in their hands, are dedicated pro lifers who spend their time, sweat & tears, in the work of trying to save & change lives, on the sidewalk in front of Planned Parenthood. Martha also does important work at the Focus Pregnancy Help Center. Their dedication & prayers, over the past 14 years, have been an inspiration to me & to others, in the pro life movement. They endure all kinds of weather & abuses, from the public, & they still continue to come back to fight the good fight, to save innocent lives, from being aborted at Planned Parenthood. I am humbled, to be in their company, on the front lines & in the Focus Center.

Bless them for all that they - and other dedicated pro-lifers - do.
