View from the choir

I am a Catholic layperson and Secular Franciscan with a sense of humor. After years in the back pew watching, I have moved into the choir. It's nice to see faces instead of the backs of heads. But I still maintain God has a sense of humor - and that we are created in God's image.

Snow Record!

46.4 inches of snow in December - the new record. Maybe a bit more in the next couple of days?

Meanwhile, January's record is 61.3 inches back in 2004? Not certain of that. Five feet of snow. Hmm....

When did the previous record occur? I recall (somewhat dimly) a terrible series of snow storms in December 1945.
