View from the choir

I am a Catholic layperson and Secular Franciscan with a sense of humor. After years in the back pew watching, I have moved into the choir. It's nice to see faces instead of the backs of heads. But I still maintain God has a sense of humor - and that we are created in God's image.

Advice for Hillary

"A woman should be past her sexuality when she runs. Hillary still has sexual power, and I don't think people will accept that.” – Sharon Stone, cautioning Hillary Clinton about running for President at this time.

In the "sexual power" department, I think Hill's "batter warning" light has come on. :)

That consideration is probably one of the most repulsive things I've ever come across. But I could be misunderstanding what she means by sexual power. Does she mean sexual power like Viagra or like saltpeter?

I think Hilary is attempting to flatter herself. Sexuality is not something that comes to mind when gazing at her. Matronly is a better tag.

Sharon Stone has certainly made an incredibly sexist and illogical statement. If we tried applying the same logic to men, few of them would ever be eliglbe to run for office, eh?
