View from the choir
I am a Catholic layperson and Secular Franciscan with a sense of humor. After years in the back pew watching, I have moved into the choir. It's nice to see faces instead of the backs of heads. But I still maintain God has a sense of humor - and that we are created in God's image.

There was no "underage sex ring." It was another hoax perpetrated by James O'Keefe of ACORN hoax fame.
That's inocorrect Padraic.
It had nothing to do with the ACORN stings or the group involved with that. NPR initially reported that - then had to correct itself.
And even Planned Parenthood has admitted that what was done was wrong. Whether the ring was real or not, the PP worker was willing to violate the law and aid a supposed underage sex ring.
AP reports: Phyllis Kinsler, chief executive officer of Planned Parenthood of Central New Jersey, added that the clinic employee’s behavior, as portrayed on the video, “violates PPCNJ policies, as well as our core values of protecting the welfare of minors and complying with the law, and appropriate action is being taken.”
You might also check out the piece by Jodie Jacobson of Reality Check (http://www.rhrealitycheck.org/blog/2011/01/24/traffickers-target-planned-parenthood-possible-live-action-films-hoax) in which there is evidence that PP recognized a planned, coordinated hoax and was in touch with the U.S. Department of Justice about the possibility that there really was a "underage sex ring".
think it more likely they recognized a possible Live Action sting, and having been caught with their pants down before decided to launch a preemptive attack.
They fired the person in the video, by the way. Her willingness to help the alleged sex ring was real.
