View from the choir

I am a Catholic layperson and Secular Franciscan with a sense of humor. After years in the back pew watching, I have moved into the choir. It's nice to see faces instead of the backs of heads. But I still maintain God has a sense of humor - and that we are created in God's image.

Pro-abortion Violence: Abortionist Pulls Gun

Police have arrested Gary Boyle, 62, a Blountville, Tenn., abortion doctor, on charges of pointing a firearm.

Boyle reportedly drove into the parking lot of a Charleston abortion clinic around 8:30 a.m. The 40 Days for Life protesters, including a 17-year-old boy, peacefully approached him, and Boyle brandished a black handgun loaded with 15 rounds, according to a police report.

The report then says Boyle stepped out of his SUV and walked into the Charleston Women's Medical Center without further incident. One of the three protesters called 911.

More here.

I'm glad he chose not to fire.

Was if media-fueled fear? (Pro-choicers tend to be more violent that pro-lifers, thought you wouldn't know that form what the media reports.)

Was it guilt?

Was it pressure?

Only God knows. Say a prayer for him - and for the safety of pro-lifers.
