View from the choir

I am a Catholic layperson and Secular Franciscan with a sense of humor. After years in the back pew watching, I have moved into the choir. It's nice to see faces instead of the backs of heads. But I still maintain God has a sense of humor - and that we are created in God's image.

Sebelius - Obama's latest pro-abortion Catholic


After weeks of rumors - including one that protests from the pro-life community had delayed it - President Obama is apparently ready to announce that pro-abortion Catholic Governor Kathleen Sebelius of Kansas will be his Secretary of Health and Human Services. That's her above at a party at the governor's mansion with noted abortionist George Tiller (of late-term abortion fame ) who claims to have killed more than 60,000 babies. According to reports, the party was for Tiller and his abortion center staff - thanking him for his support.

Her views on abortion are so extreme that her bishop met with her and told her not to receive Communion until she repented and went to confession.

The death march continues.
