A Franciscan legend
One day full of joy because he sensed God’s presence in all creation, Francis walked the streets of Assisi singing and inviting everyone to sing along with him.
Then he came upon an almond tree.
“Brother Almond,” he said, “speak to me of God.”
And the almond tree blossomed.
Then he came upon an almond tree.
“Brother Almond,” he said, “speak to me of God.”
And the almond tree blossomed.
