View from the choir

I am a Catholic layperson and Secular Franciscan with a sense of humor. After years in the back pew watching, I have moved into the choir. It's nice to see faces instead of the backs of heads. But I still maintain God has a sense of humor - and that we are created in God's image.

40 Days for Life underway!

The 40 Days for Life campaign has begun in 238 cities - including Rochester.

Last night, we held a kick-off at the Focus Pregnancy Help Cener, with a pot luck, music, a video of Abby Johnson (the former Planned Parenthood director who's now pro-life), and talks by various people, including a woman from Silent No More who'd has abortions (but now is bless with five children), and a great-grandmother who battled and saved two great-grandchildren from abortion - including one whose mother had begun the RU 486 regimen. The children were with us last night!
Now, to pray.
Go to http://www.40daysforlife.com/rochester/ for more information and to sign up for prayer times.
