View from the choir

I am a Catholic layperson and Secular Franciscan with a sense of humor. After years in the back pew watching, I have moved into the choir. It's nice to see faces instead of the backs of heads. But I still maintain God has a sense of humor - and that we are created in God's image.

Patron Saints of Negativity?

Just wondering: Is there a patron saint of grumps, grousers and complainers?

Maybe it should be a team?

I know there was a nun in the "Song of Bernadete" we used to call "Sr. Prunella." And though I find no record of such a saint, the name Grumpius keeps jumping into my head.

I can't aim for the title myself since I'm probably not grumpy enough - and I'm certainly no saint! (Heck, I'm just hoping I'm good enough to make it to Purgatory at this point.)
